I prefer to shot in best sharp available, and, of course adjust this kind of "error" in post production!! (the frames are beta version, not the final postproduction!)

Beautiful work. Wish I knew what the actors are saying.

Your film looks great--I love it from just looking at the stills. Hopefully, they'll be an english subtitled version. A very classic 50's/60's 16mm B&W European look along the line of la Nouvelle Vague.

Very Italian. Very nice. I spent a week in Bologna. Beautiful city. I'd love to shoot there, with the cool wall and piazzas. I shot a Godard inspired music video, planning to be in B+W as well. See what you think. Luv your stuff! Ciao!

Also, could you post some "before B+W" and "after" stills to show how it looked straight from the DVX? ThnX!

Nice to see manly chest hair is making a comeback. You have a great feel for black and white, not everyone can do this properly.
This is one of my favorite pieces on the site recently.. would love to see more video or screenshots.
Oh yeah the actor with the moustache has a great face for film, very photogenic. Casting is very important!

I love the look of this. The opening titles are beautiful and understated with a distinctly European touch.

The versions are small, so it's hard to tell, but I vote for grain based on what I saw there. It lends itself to the aesthetic. The puzzle sequence you posted is really stark, moody and I'm completely compelled to see more.

As an aside, I shave nearly every day and still get nervous each and every time I see someone doing so on film.

    Gratzie!
