    Action or drama would be great IMO. I am anxiously looking forward to the anounement as well. But I don't want to wait for teh next fest for an excuse to sharpen my skills- so i think it is better to just go ahead and put toghether a project regardless of if there is a fest or not. No time like the present to get started!

    As for comedy- yes British humor is the best! I love it, nothing quite like it!

    still, when I think of brit comedy i have the following in my mind:

    - monty pythons
    -IT crowd
    - little britain

    I can understand that- that would be frustrating. But if a project is worth investing your time and energy in, then it is worth completing. I would rather fall in the proactive side of things and make it happen for myself, rather then be on the reactive side, waiting for the next thing to come along. If the project is good, you'll generate interest regardless of if there is an actual contest or not. And you could always find a contest to enter it into- there are tons of festivals all over. Just my thoughts.
