Hey, I'm looking to buy the m2 lens adapter for the hvx. I'm going to purchase the Indie Bundle because I can only afford 35mm still lenses. I'm looking for some advice on what type of lenses to use nikon, canon, etc...Any advice would be appreciated

I got the indie bundle a couple of months ago and I'm very happy with the results. It does take some playing around with though to get the focus down. Anyway to answer your question, I ordered the PL mount to use with Nikon lenses. Seems most people prefer the Nikon glass. There is a lot of information on this in the Redrock forum under 35mm lenses.

    cheers,

    JP

Actually, get the NIKON mount to use with Nikon glass. The PL mount is for motion camera lenses (Cookes and Arris). I have the M2, as well. Dig it.
Laying down the ad wisdom as @leeclowsbeard.

yeah, Nikorr lenses have pretty nice glass, and their mounts haven't changed for like a million years. this mean you can buy used lenses for cheap, saving you $$$.

also, make sure you buy the shim kit, or you'll get your lense adapter, and not be able to you it. that wouldn't be all that great...
