Japanese NHK had a UHDTV theater at NAB, and it's also at IBC.

Looks to be in the similar ballpark of performance as RED. Could they be a perfect match of the future?

Isn't the UHD camera lower resolution than the Red One? I think it's 3k. I think they use pixel shifting to take it up to 4320p. It's like comparing 576p (or 540p) pixel shifted to 1080p, with native 720p. Or the HVX200 with the HD100. The NHK UHD camera being the HVX200 and the Red One being the HD100.
Long story short, they probably look the same.
