I think I'm watching this show already. It's called 'The 4400'. People with powers "whose destiny just might be saving humankind."

I've seen the pilot for Heros (and most of all the other NBC fall shows) and it actually looks prety good.
Haven't seen much 4400, so I can't tell if it's the same.

The pilot starts a little slow, but once they cut out enough to fit the commercials in it shoudl have a nice fast pace too. Overall it looks prety good and one of the better shows on NBC this fall.

Studio 60 looks prety darn good too.

Yup, pretty much. But it turns out to be future us's (a la Bill and Ted) who pick them out of their time and plop them in the present. And each has a power. And as a group they were sent back to possibly save humanity from itself. I stopped watching but it was interesting for a bit.
