I love that last one. They all look great, but that last one is just awesome. Can you expand on your technique for us please?

The grunge look is fine, as long as it is something used to enhance or sell the photo. The only one that works for me is the second.

The first has the highs really blown out, and is got so much grunge, it's hard not only to get a sense of foreground and background, but even what the picture is trying to get across.

The last one is nice, but I like it more for the use of selective desaturation than grunge.

Just throwing noise/scratches/grunge textures onto a photo seems to be an emerging trend here, one that can be totally unnecessary, and has a tendency not only to detract from the emotional content of the work (the exact opposite of what it should be doing), but makes them all fall into "yet another" or "that kinda" look. That also takes away from the work, because now it's boxed into and lumped with the rest that have "that look".

The photos are good, particularly the composition of the third. Let's see them enhanced, rather than stomped on.

Your work is good, let it stand more on its own.
    "One. . . Two. . . FIVE!"
    "Thre Sir"
    "THREE!"

It aint the colors man, it's the LUMINOSITY.

I really dig this look "grunge" but I have to agree with Rapier_100a, I like photos as they have been shot, no photoshop - no anything.

But I'm starting to google for grunge stuff.

    I like the 2nd one.
