There are two B+W 82mm UV Haze 010 MRC filters available:
Filter Extra Wide and Filter Slim. Which one did you buy?

Sorry - I just saw that there is a normal filter version too. I assume it's this one (currently $104.95 at B&H).

The slim one won't hold clip-in lens caps, but with the HVX hood that's not an issue.

I shoot still 35mm and my experience has been that circulars are "guaranteed" to not impede autofocus, but linears will "usually" work just fine.

I'm sure one day, I'll go to shoot one specific combination of camera angle, incident light angle and auto tracking of subject movement that will make me regret not buying a big ($ and diameter) circular. But so far, I've been lucky.

(I started playing with linears so I could stack them with a deep red for pseudo infrared stuff. but ended up using them for regular uses too.)

I have some customers who were very happy with these for their HVX200's:

Again Barry is this the one you have since there are also some other different version of that filter like the "sliM' version and the "extra wide" version.

I did buy the Schneider TruePol that was recommended by Evinsky and Barry and worked with it and was satisfied. Now I finally had a chance to compare it to the Tiffen complement, the wtr/wht ultrapol linear filter. I tested glas refections and sky shots. Both the cameraman who's Tiffen we used and I could not make out any differences in the results. Both the Tiffen and the Schneider do a good job and can improve the picture quality substantially. So, after testing I recommend both.
