How do you convert P2>MXF>FCP> into universal DVCpro50.mov quicktime?

Current pipeline: HVX200>P2>Powerbook>FCP>export 720p24 DVCpro50 qt.mov> copied into windows (with DVCpro50 codec)> quicktime won't open and is white.

Is there a way to batch mxf FCP converted footage into universal DVCpro50qt.mov to use both on mac & windows?

    What is the standard procedure?

DVCPRO50 is not a normally-installed codec on a Windows system. if you have the Matrox free DVCPRO50 codec installed, then it'll work (er... it *should* work...)

Does anyone know of a DVCPRO HD codec for windows?

I have DVCPRO NTSC which doesn't work. A matrox codec was suggested but I couldn't locate it. I have googled DVCPRO HD for windows, and every combination there of, and I can't seem to turn up anything. I believe this is the problem but can't be sure.

I digitized a couple of DVCPRO50 in final cut and i want to import the quicktimes in avid.

I tried with the matrox codecs, doesnt work...
I tried with avid that has is own DVCPRO50 codecs, doesnt work.

What's weird is that its working fine for HD in avid even if they play white screen in quicktime player, but nothing to do for DV50...

I dont understand why there's no DVCPRO50 or HD codecs for quicktime on pc.

    I'll keep trying,
hope someone will find the solution

    Jazzz

Has anyone solved this yet. I shot on DVCPRO HD 720p60 and I can't get it to show in QT or Avid Liquid. For that matter it doesn't work on all macs.
