    DVX100A Focusing

Guys I've used this forum for a while with and gotten some great information.

Here is my questions: ( I somewhat of a novice by the way)

We do corporate videos for the web inside of our studio on a green screen. When I shoot headshots with our DVX100A I can get the focus pretty good. But when I do head to toe shots the video seems to loose some detail even though I think I have it focused.

Can you guys help me understand what might be causing this problem. The sharpness of the video is important as I am tacking these clips to the web with flash video.

    thanks!

Are you zooming all the way in to get focus and then zooming out to frame?

The EVF DTL feature may help you. It enhances the edges of the pictures that is in focus. The button to turn this on and off is located under the VF above the scene file dial.

I am zooming in almost all the way, then I change to zoom out for head to toe. I am trying to shoot the talent for that size then put them on a white background for placement on the web.
