Hi I'm thinking of setting up a part of my garage for solid colored backdrops for chroma keys or just plain black. I'm going to start off with black.
The question is, what material would you guys use for a DIY black backdrop? I've seen places sell muslin, canvas and velour backdrops but I really dont know which absorbs light most.
I was thinking of even using just cotton duvetyne since its fore retardant and I ran into a place that sells it for 1.99 per yard if u buy 50 yards or more. is that a good price? its better than filmtool's prices thats for sure.
and has anyone ever used satin as a light dimmer?
thanks a bunch,
Paolo
