HVX 200 PAL model reported to be higher rez than NTSC version

Just to be clear: I'm not worried about the resolution of the HVX 200 (either PAL or NTSC). I only posted the information because it is, AFAIK, the first time anyone did any (published) comparison between the two models. Once the HVX 200E has been out for a number of weeks and properly tested in the field, this issue will probably become a moot point anyway.

I also read the article now and i think its too early to speculate on the specs-they had really few time for a test with a "Preproduction Pal Modell..", so lets wait and see it...hopefully it will be as good as it should be..and they probably used the 3 month after ntsc release and fie tuned our Pal baby-oterwise we are really ripped off with this price in Pal countries...!

What about danilo?Didnt he went to rome this weekend to see a pal modelll hopefully?lets see if he could leave naples..!

I'll see the european version at the end of the month, according to Panasonic Italy. To me sounds very unlikely that a multi-brand reseller like Adcom has cameras before more official ones.
