I saw some very nice HVX200 footage posted on dvinfo.net.

    Here's the link:

    Check out: Snow Footage 60p

    It's very nice.

I've seen other people link to other sites before, so I think that it's OK that I post this link, right?

I think the whites look super blown out, and the darks have no detail. hopefully it can be set up a lot flatter than that.

(Chris does not mind links to dvinfo.net by the way)

    That is super nice. Beautiful.

And still there are people saying this camera is s*%te....

I dont get it. Maybe they're not seeing what I am seeing ? I loved this footage and the latitude was great; the snow had detail !

I'd love to know what settings were used in that.

Great footage, but the HVX doesn't shoot 60p. It does 30p or 24p. Am I missing something?

    Yes it does 60P. In 720 it does 12, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 30, 32, 36, 48, and 60 progressive frames per second.

In 1080 mode it does 30P and 24P.

    Oops

I was thinking 1080. - Or perhaps not thinking at all.
