The Hero fest is going to be interesting since I bet one of the rules will be no using an existing comic book hero. I cant wait to see what people come up with.
We already came up with 3 possible story lines and now just have to create a character. This is going to be fun.

Hey this is Blake Balu (Daniel in WANA). Im on the phone with Brian Kaz right now and he'd like to share these few words with you...

"Greetings from sunny Orlando! I just want to say a quick thanks to everyone who chimed in with their thoughts and especially to Jared, Barry and the DVXUSER Players for putting on this fest, allowing me to win a cool DVRIG that I will no doubt use until it falls to pieces. It was alot of fun (for the most part) and I'm looking forward to the next one. Congratulations to the winners and to all the others for actually finishing a movie. For that alone we all deserve a prize!

Well, looks like I'm running 20 seconds over...so I will sign off.

    Cheers!!

    P.S.
Jack- You are a funny, FUNNY guy!!!

Edit- I promise to get WANA uploaded one my site ASAP, just for you!"

Apologies for the belated congrats (I've been on jury duty all week), but I just wanted to extend a hearty CONGRATULATIONS! to all the scifi winners and to everyone who submitted a film. It was a really great experience to watch them all.

I just found this article on Wired.com -- the columnist is basicaly saying that he thinks the scifi genre is making greater strides within the video game world than in film. Of course, he hasn't seen the brilliant work done in the scifest...

    Congrats again to everyone!
