Undisputeably gorgeous imagery, compelling story that is at the same time slightly disturbing. Top notch all the way. No doubt, a serious contender.

I watched all of the films and, if I could vote (quite under 100 posts), this would be the top contender. Very impressive work. Excellent cinematography, pacing, and sound. But most of all it was the story and script that drew me from the other entries. It felt much more genuine.
Remarkable stuff.

To dig up an old thread: Could the lead female character be an android herself?

Hi Macgregor,
I dont get it. Maybe Im missing something.
I found a link to this on youtube and just watched it. I thought it was great. It reminded me of Soaris in it's minimalistic way. I loved the combination of VO and music used in a very controlled way. The story was about right for it's running time, focussed and engaging. It's certainly one of the most rounded shorts I've seen on the boards. My favourite films are the ones which leave you with some ressonance after you watch them.
So then I check the winners list, and it's not even top ten... Was your film non-competition? ......

Hey this is kind of odd, digging up an old thread like this. But, why did Similo get disqualified?
