Ok, this was just weird. I felt the story was really, really shallow, and even the twist with him killing the girl was obvious. I also really did not like the amount of cursing. I mean, a small amount isn't horrid, but you have to write dialogue, not just let people swear at each other. So, I'd try to give more thought to the script and dialogue next time, and make every word mean something. I really liked the look, it was very unique. Good job!

    Spidey,

    Excellent film.

It reminded me a lot of Bladerunner which happens to be one of my all time favorite films. The atmosphere had an acidic and unpleasant feel to it, perfect for the story. The acting was first class and the world you created was very believable.

I thought the horror the character felt as he realized what he did at the end of the film was conveyed well and gave me good closure.

Editing was creative and seamless to me. This is in my top 5 so far.

    Good work.

The acting was first rate. Dialog was sharp and Tarantino-esq in that kind of hype-fast back and forth bouncing off of each other's conversation sort of way.

The color in the scene where they're talking about the big gun was really distracting to me. It looked kind of like an emboss effect turned all the way up. Aside from that scene I think your color pallet was very well thought-out and well executed.

I liked the gritty, dark atmosphere. Acting was good and story, while leaving me thinking that I only got to see part of it, held my interest. The movie did remind of Blade Runner, which is a great accomplishment in its own right.

Now, I had two concerns with it. First is CC - the scene in the bar and the scene where the guy wakes up from a nightmare looked plain ugly to me. It would have looked tons better if you used real color lighting: lit the bar green, put a blue lamp by the bed etc. (and btw it would have also looked more BR'ish this way).

My other concern is not really a movie's problem. It's just that I don't get why Ryan would work with Bart if the dude is a complete psycho. But that's just me... I could never understand people who continue working for the bosses they hate...

yeah. one idea i heard from my brother was. "god they hate one another but they joke around with one another." I capture alot of relationships like that to him he said. Like they hate then love then hate then they are ok then...... well who knows :-p

    Spidey,
    a few quick questions...

What were your in camera settings?

Did you use any filters and/or a mattebox?

WHat program did you use for color correction?
    .
