Is it possible to use keyframe interpolation for masks? I can get this affect to work for the position of the video track, but I cannot get it to work for a mask that I create on the track for a rotoscoping effect. For example, I am trying to mask out a guitar player in a video. I create a unique mask for him every 1/2 second since he isn't moving much. When I play the video, the mask isn't interpolating between masks, so the video looks like jerky, discrete mask changes.
I know for the position I have the keyframe interpolation setting that I can change, but I don't see that option for the mask. Any information is appreciated.

It's really the vertex points' postion that interpolate between keyframes. Therefore, if you create a new mask at each keyframe, all of the vertex points from the previous keyframe are not present on this new keyframe. Instead, you want to use the same mask (and thus the same vertex points) for all keyframes.
Just create a mask, move the cursor to another point in time, and adjust the vertex points of the mask. When you play through your keyframes, the mask should animate.
