Redrockmicro have just posted a clip of the HVX200 fitted with the Redrock M2 adaptor, filmed at EVS.

    It's a 24meg download. Raw footage. A quick 5 minute setup.

    Thoughts?

Wow, that looks great. Haha, hello Randy. :-P

I wish it was in HD though... why would they have shot that in SD (or downrezzed it in post)? I thought the whole point was to show the adapter's prowess with the HD part of the camera. Great depth of field, though. Any idea what lens was used?
    you + are = you're.
Batteries do not "loose" charge and hard drives don't "loose" data.

Rather than show the quality of codec, I think the clip was more to show the depth of field which is achievable quickly and efficiently.

Not bad. But I have something cheaper and better. It is about the footage I did this morning in my apartment without using any additional light except a daylight that comes through the windows. Sorry but footage is done in Sony FX1E with M2 Redrockmicro 35mm lens adapter using an old vintage Carl Zeiss Jena Olympia 180 f2 lens from the thirties that I found here in one Leica shop Vienna Austria. The footage is in a full size 1920x1080 and compressed in Apple Quicktime Photo JPEG 75% that could be accessible for all to see in the best quality. Size about 91 MB. Link to the page with ftp from my home server to download is below the pictures.

I am not fan of FX1E, I owe one and respect it and HDV too. By the way HVX200 is still not available in Europe or 50Hz/PAL World and probably is coming there in March.

What the f** is up with you hijacking threads man!! I don't care about your FX1. That is why I'm on the HVX forums. Go post that stuff in a forum who cares about the FX1.

    The footage looks decent...

It looked a little pastey, actually. The guys face looks like an oil painting the entire time.

    But it looks decent, regardless.

Crap. I just want to rent both cameras and find out for my damned self. I'm tired of seeing everyone elses footage, man.
