    Whats up all,
Here are some grabs of a few tests of Everlast:

and heres a clilp of the song:

Im trying for a...a...well, the video is a tribute to the late Jam Master Jay from RUN-DMC and I'm going for a emotional look. How can I explain it...you know when you are listening to a song in your car and it reminds you of a lost love or something where you kind of zone out thinking about that person? Thats the look I am after with effects and editing. I still have to go through some more footage and shoot a couple of more cameos like this saturday I'm shooting the one and only Kurtis Blow from waaaaay back ( did that song "these are the breaks" among others ). I think we have Busta and 50 on the schedule coming up too, that should be fun.
I am open for any ideas plus ill put up video clips as I go.
    Peace all.

    Nice grabs. I especially dig # 3.

On the ones that are overexposed (on purpose, im sure) is that in camera?

Has any post work been done as far as color correctoins go? These look great.

    Hi,

The clips look good - but are you using some film look effects such as magic bullet & after effects for that soft diffussion look you got going on in the clips from clips 5 to 8 ?

    did you use 24 p also ?

    Cheers

The darker shots are color and curve corrected for contrast. I love contrast. The blown out whispy ones are all done in post also. If you look close, you can see that some of the shots are the same...well almost, a few frames off maybe. These are tests to see what kind of mood i can get with post effects, this weekend we are shooting Kurtis Blow and I dont know how the darker skin is going to look with the whispy thing so until I get a few more peeps, Im not sure which direction I want to go with. This weekend Ill try to put up some video tests with the music.
The video is for whatever the Lords of Brooklyn want to do with it. MTV, VH1, etc. I do know that they want to make a DVD to sell and give the procedes to Jam Master Jays kids, I dont know what type of DVD this would be to make money though.
