I've shot something using a "fog machine." I'm wondering if there's an AVX plub-in for Avid Xpress that adds haze so that some of my "clearest" footage can be smokier and matched to my smokey atmospheric footage. It looks strange to cut between two shots where one is hazy and the other is not.
Thanks!

I don't know of any single plug-in. Your compositing/FX apps can handle this (After Effects, Combustion, etc.). If you absolutely need a plug-in you might look into Continuum Complete from Boris. There's a lot of incredible stuff in that package, but I can't specifically say if they have a fog or smoke particle.
Edit: Duh. Boris Red could do this as well, and works as a plug-in. Don't know why I didn't think of that originally.Chris Johnson
