    if they choose to sell them, looks like 15,000-40,000 each..
    but I think I remember reading an article a few years ago that said Honda planned to have one of their asimos in every honda dealer...

    I would suppose that since humans are considered (by humans) to be the most advanced species we know of, that such engineers view replicating human-like characteristics as the ultimate challenge.

    Then again, maybe they're just amusing themselves.

    Of course, Disneyland has had an animated Abraham Lincoln chatting it up with tourists for many decades.

    I wish I had a couple of these for my sci fi movie. except they wouldnt be dancing.
    I was watching the movie and the whole time I wanted the 2 in the front to start fighting... never happened.
