Very nice Wayne, this looks promising! A little bit difficult to get a full impression from handheld footage and poor lighting
Really looking forward to the DVX100 test. Keep up the good work Wayne.
Just a question about the construction,- looking at the pictures and I wonder if the rods will go all the way through the adapter so one could attach a mattebox or a sunscreen in front of the lens??

Very good question.
The baseplate that Quinn got was actually to low for his XM2, meaning he had to pull the rods back to get the unit low enough. I have sent quinn a modified baseplate for the XM2 that places the camera slighly higher. Its fine on the fx-1/dvx100 though.
Thanks,
Wayne.

Looks good Wayne. Hopefully we can get DVX examples soon, maybe even a few seconds of raw dv footage. How's the FX1 footage coming along?

Hi,
Yes im SO eager to organise the DVX test now. The FX-1 test went ahead, but we came up against a few problems with the baseplase that needed modifying, so didn't record anything useful. We held the cam breifly up against the SG35 and the images were great.
Thanks,
Wayne.
