    All I can tell you is what I saw posted on another forum.
    The VEGAS Pro 15 build 311 release notes state "Updated support for RED Epic Dragon, Raven, Scarlet, and Weapon files".
    No idea if it actually works or not.

    Yes it does. I have used Vegas Pro 15,17 and 18 with Dragon Scarlet files, no problem. I don't know about the newer DSMC2 Red files. Vegas has a free trial and Red.com has sample R3d files you can download to test yourself. Vegas Pro 18 and maybe 17 has it set by default to create proxy files for 4K media, that is slow and I'd turn it off in preferences unless your computer is lower spec. IIRC a GPU either AMD or Nvidia is required.
