Nothing like a TV backlit by a wall of bright daylight. Notice they used a foggy morning with the sun behind the house.

I guess the super rich have to have something to buy and show off. Their cars and Malibu homes just don't cut it anymore. But who wants to wait all that time for the TV to turn on? It's like going back in time, waiting for the tubes to warm up.

In terms of performance and value, a stacked laser projector set will deliver more of everything. At the moment.

But Micro LED's are the TV and a movie theater of the future - high enough resolution, longevity, brightness, with no projection or projectionist really required. Samsung has been showing its MicroLED concepts for several years now, with several show piece installations around the globe already. First commercial models about to come out (in 110").

I'd speculate that they're currently two-four times more expensive visavis the large theater 4K laser projectors. The gap should shrink soon.

Entertainment in the living room, for 400,000. you could have Carrot Top to perform in your living room and still have $399,960 left to get over the trauma of having Carrot Top perform in your living room.
