I ignored your post - hunted around the web and slowly came to FFmpeg.

Which is looking good - I can probably now understantd the article

The resolve mystery is sorted.

I managed to name my fliles..

0001.jpg -> 0009.jpg ->00010.jpg ->00011.jpg

What you may notice is that Ive not correctly managed the quantity of zeros in the file name. This broke resolve (but not some others) - when files are named properly resolve works propery
