I'm not impressed by what I see from it so far, but it's the first real 3D relight-in-post implementation I've seen, no matter what people say about 2D implementations that are not true relighting

I agree, it will only get better and more ubiquitous. Along with the strong codecs, fat bit rates and bit depth comes the ability to manipulate every way to Sunday. Lets face it, the main difference between photos and portraits is the lighting. Once that is simulated, why have a sitting? Posing is important but many folks are not comfortable in that situation anyway. It is all changing.
