Thanks guys. It's weird for a project you shot 3-4 years ago to have a life of it's own
but apparently this one does and it does feel good. I'm so happy for my friend who was
the producer/director/writer who has the relationship with Dick Cavett. It's been an interesting experience.

It's funny that we won the best sports documentary yet when you watch the film, it's not really about sports, it's about Ali's personal life, Nation of Islam, Farrakhan, Malcom X, his personal demons. There are only a few boxing clips in the film. He was on Cavett's show eleven times but in real life, they had a wonderful friendship and that's the crux of the film. Originally Posted by scorsesefan

Thank you Abe. As far as I know, it's still only on HBO, it opened at SXSW in 2018 and played a few film festivals before HBO acquired it. Originally Posted by ahalpert
