I've never used them, but heres Dustin Abbott's review of the viltrox 85 mk2: https://dustinabbott.net/2020/07/vil...stm-ii-review/

This one is only in video form and I havent watched it... but in the preface he implies that the autofocus is improved over the mk1

I've been off/on the A7Siii for about 2 weeks now. Besides the color science lagging slightly behind Canon, I have no regrets about switching.
This camera checks a lot of boxes for my mid-level corporate work. Combined with the Ronin RCS 2, the arca-swiss/manfrotto plate combo lets me go from sticks -> gimbal -> slider effortlessly. Huge time saving on set or around clients. The 120fps is sick, nice 3rd party Small Rig options, autofocus is crazy good.

I shot these snippets for my kid's YT page, but they're helping me get comfortable with the rig before taking it out on paid gigs.

    Thanks Matt HNY...

I've been using a small edelkrone Wing Pro. Maybe 10" of travel. For what I do in 120 it's plenty.
However, this camera's eye-tracking is so dammed good I might need to up grade for interviews LOL

Yeah I have been pretty amazed at the camera's AF as well.

    The camera is a BEAST.

I just picked up an A7SIII. Haven't had the chance to film much yet, but does anyone think Sony will ever give it S-Cinetone in a future FW upgrade or are they going to protect their cinema line products?

Did anyone try the settings in this video for the S-Cinetone look?

I doubt they will give it S-Cinetone. But hey what do I know. Didn't the cameras that have it have it from the outset?

I've yet to see anything convincing shot using S-Cinetone.
