Would love to see a new camera (even if I am just a hobbyist with 10 years of e-mount glass accumulation that will never change system) but also would not be surprised if it were just firmware updates (which can be exciting too, but BMD already has pretty great features compared to everyone else).

The title makes me think of a firmware update, maybe something with new flavors of BRAW or bringing back cDNG, or maybe AF improvements. Or perhaps it's a new camera. "Live in 27 hours" so we'll know soon enough...

edit: I must say that, compared with the constant tricle of unreliable Sony rumors in response to the r5 announcement, I strongly prefer this official heads up for an event that's coming very soon

I’m not sure if this means anything, but via the B&H app, and searching for ‘Blackmagic’ under cinema cameras, B&H had three empty Blackmagic product links. Nothing there, no photo, no text, just three blank product slots. It has since disappeared. A glitch or B&H is gearing up for another Blackmagic instant release?

Perhaps Blackmagic has a new family lineup of cameras to announce?

The 4.6K sensor is from 2015.
