Here's hoping it's an A7Siii in a video body (with an SDI output on there somewhere)!
The 4k sensor would keep it from treading on the toes of its 6k-sensored big brother. And with all of the 10-bit 4:2:2 codecs of the A7Siii (and the proper 120fps option) ideally alongside the same Prores Raw output via HDMI.... well, that'd be a wonderful little video camera.

If AF is great and they keep the price down they'll have another huge hit.

This article says $7K: http://www.hdwarrior.co.uk/2020/09/0...price-of-7000/ A little high considering the original fs5 was $5749. I would think around $6k would be a nice price point...

So an ND XLR AF 10bit camera of low mass is the the holy grail to me.
Competition would be the rumoured canons.
Do either have an EVF ?
THis screen is better than a fixed on the back screen (that will be on the canons)
This is IMO better shape than the rumoured canons.
Might even take my stock of BPU
28-135 or 24-105 (how bad is the 24-105?)
To me its looking a little better than the rumoured canons.
Emount fits my current adapter infrasturcture.

It's listed on this dedicated page for Sony's full frame cameras so it looks like there is good chance it will be a full frame camera.
Sony also has a webinar series linked below so hopefully there will be a few for the FX6 as it gets closer to release. There are a few other cool sessions scheduled soon including one for the cinematography of Lovecraft Country next week.

Now this is what I've been waiting for. Curious to see where it falls between the FX9 and A7S. Would love to have the autofocus and high speed modes.
The one other feature I'd love to see is to be able to properly name files similar to how the FS7 was able to. That was my biggest gripe with the FS-5 was the constant clip 0001 type file names. Sadly I see this feature probably being left out so it doesn't approach upon FX9 territory but one can dream rightFlorida Based Photographer & Cinematographer
