It's actually worse than that. The Sigma MC-21 EF to L-mount adapter only supports single-shot autofocus. It does not support continuous autofocus (AF-C) in video mode at all. So you can't even try it, even if you wanted to:

Called B&H... still waiting for a call back. But it's out of stock with no time frame on re-stock.
Best Buy... out of stock. National number had no idea when they'll get more.
Local (Ann Arbor) camera store... hasn't received their shipment; being told by Panasonic late Oct or Nov by the earliest (and it's only 2 of them).
Amazon... not even listed on their anymore.
Robert's Camera... out of stock, no idea when they'll be getting more.
So it's pretty clear that Panasonic's having some massive production problems. Which is putting everyone who relied on a delivery in pickle. Like me.John Vincent

Keep an eye out on Adorama...they have their "...expected in a few days." notice.

Actually doesn't help much as they'll be closed for a little while too.
I checked Best Buy earlier when Brandon mentioned them and they had the kit in stock for shipping, but it's not in stock anymore.
Maybe this camera is also more popular than we think.

If you want AF this camera isn't for you. I will be testing it out on a real shoot this weekend. Planning to use adapted EF lenses the entire day. So far I love the interface and feel of the camera. I'm stress testing the battery and battery pack I got for it today.

After watching this that was my take away. But then again if that's the case why wouldn't you use a Black Magic Pocket camera instead?

If you don't use AF, put on cinema primes, set your shots up, it shines. I like how the reviewer is transparent about how it was shot. The welding shop and the motocross result in beautiful images but he uses an $8k cine lens, recording externally, and grading it nicely. Notice at 16:00 and 16:30 his walk n talk vlog looks bad, soft out of focus. Of course this is with the kit lens, recorded internally, with no additional lighting... I imagine most people getting this camera would run it this way and be disappointed.

Black Magic cameras, IMHO are much more unwieldy and not as run and gun friendly. I primarily shoot weddings and need something small and fast while giving me great quality.

I agree. From your previous post it sounded like you were not going to use it the AF and use primes. That's all well and good if you carefully plan shots. I would say a wedding is a different matter. You are going to need AF. I wouldn't use BM for wedding and agree this is far more versatile, just not convinced the AF is good enough for that type of work either.
