I am having fun with this little slider. Itís my second slider. My first one is great (it has a long track), but itís a pain to set up. It requires multiple stands to make it sturdy and it has a lot of parts. This new slider can go on a table top or onto my tripod. Itís inspired me to use a slider more often. Take a look.

I've been using that also. It looks short but is actually a good length for a lot of shots. Mounted on a tripod it's easy to add pan and tilt to the move.

I agree. I am satisfied with the length 99.9 percent of the time. So you do tilts and pans with your tripod while the slider is moving? I’ve never tried that.

Yeah. I was just doing some of that yesterday in fact and it worked great on several shots. Also considerably cheaper than another $1700- for Edelkrone's Head Plus, though I haven't completely ruled that out yet.
