Stu Silver, who is credited with the screenplay, created "Webster". I once met one of the writers from the show.

"So, were you kind of stoked to work on a popular show?"

    Gives me a look, laughs.

"Nah, the show sucked. We just tried to make each other laugh. While working on our resume specs".

    "How come?"

"Well, when you work on a crappy show, you know you have to have a hot spec or you'll find yourself out of work".

Whether it was the spec or the friends that he made laugh, he landed a really nice gig after "Webster" and then worked for couple of decades in a supervising/executive producer capacity.

Oh, and "Throw mama from the train" sucked. And I am a big fan of DeVito (going back to the "Taxi" days) and Crystal (from "Soap" and "Breaking up is hard to do")

C'mon. "Throw Mama from the Train" is an awesome 80's comedy.

    "The night was...moist".

    "Irwin!"

    Classic.

I saw it as a kid and thought the frying pan scene was the funniest thing ever. Of course we're all adults now, and it was just slapstick.

"You don't have a cousin Patty."
    "You lied to me!" (BONG)
