Sony A7SIII = $3500, 10-bit 4K120p internal, 16-bit 4K60p RAW out

Am I missing something but how is it possible that the roundabout from Premiere -> Resolve or FCPX -> Resolve is not working on the A7s III cameras?

All of those programs seem to see a different timecode. A bit of googling and this problem has been existing at least from the first A7s camera. What the hell?

S-Cinetone on the FX9 looked wonderful when I shot some projects with it last year.
First time I could shoot people and not gag on the Sony colors,
no Cyan/Magenta cadaver looks! This is a big boost to the A7 SIII.

It's a SOOC gamma so the same exposure parameters as REC709, protect your highlights. If you want to push and get creative with grades, don't use S-Cinetone. It's designed
for handing off footage to clients and not having the horrible Sony skin tones. if you want to push it, shoot SLog 3 Cine Gamma and go sick.

Has anyone tried putting a pro mist on their a7siii? Tamron 28-75. I usually shoot clean or with an nd but I would like to soften up the image a touch...

Haven't tried it on the a7SIII but these type of filters have been pretty much the standard for the last 10 years on DSLRs/mirrorless' video unless more of a clinical look is preferred.

My personal favorite is the 1/8 Schneider Hollywood Black Magic.

Is the effect strong enough with the 1/8?
