Great Info Terry. Has your Canon rep ever remarked why the Locking EF adapter costs so much? I've used it and love it but $2,200.00 for it seems ridiculous.
It's almost like they're offering it but they don't want people to buy it?

The price is probably just a reflection of the small production run size and demand.

We sell more PL mounts than we do of the Cinema Lock EF.

I'm sure. I wish Canon would just make locking EF mount standard on all of the C Series cameras. Once you've used it, it's painful to go back to standard EF mount.
