A lot of companies are stepping up to the plate and offering free or greatly discounted resources during this time of staying at home. I've been compiling a list of what I've found so far and am hoping others can add to this list.

    Adobe Creative Cloud
Get the next 2-3 months of your subscription free by following these steps: https://youtu.be/6LK2SLos8T8

    Frame.io
Get 2TB of storage added to your account for the next 3 months for free by emailing rapid-response@frame.io

    Shane Hurlbut's Illumination Workshop
This is a great lighting and cinematography workshop that I attended in person. Normally it's $499 for the digital version, but is now free.

How To Disinfect Camera Equipment and Spaces
This is a helpful article from the founder of Lensrentals on how to properly clean your gear during covid-19.

How To Make Better Testimonial Films For Your Church
I'm discounting my online course by 60% with the coupon code HOPE for the next two weeks.

FCP X Free for 90 days

All of you poor people who are self subjecting yourselves to the masochistic abuse known as Adobe Premiere really owe it to yourself to at least try it ;-)
It's a business first and a creative outlet second.
G.A.S. destroys lives. Stop buying gear that doesn't make you money.

I’m giving myself these next free 60 days of Premiere as my last days before jumping ship. Kicking the tires on Resolve first and then FCP if Resolve won’t do it for me.

I can see the appeal of FCPX for those that do the whole process themselves.

Resolve doesnít feel like a great editing program, but is nice if you like to have the ultimate control over the color grade. Despite myself, i still enjoy PPCC when colaborating with AE artists. And Photoshop is so integral to all digital media.

What are your reasons switching? I donít editing anymore, so i like Davinci for making LUTís and analyzing footage.

As soon as Apple makes FCP X for Windows I'll give it a try. ;)

Not once you switch to Affinity products.
Totally concur with PD's comments above ^. And I was PP user going back to 1.5 version. AE might be the only program I slightly miss... but Fusion, Motion, etc has filled that void as well.
