Just few words: HDMI in and 5G.

Wow, you could send the program output
from Wirecast, vMix or whatever to this via
HDMI and use 5G to stream to the web.
    Very cool!!

    Sony used Micro HDMI?!?!??

The worst, most fragile, least reliable video connector ever made? Fail.

I'm sure that I put "elegant" in the title?
    Ah, yeah, there it is...

After dealing with this connector with my X-T3, I can safely say I will never again own another product with this connector.

I wonder how much it will cost?

This makes me think/hope a new wave of HDMI wireless transmission products are around the corner. It would be great if you could have a low cost little 5G transmitter plugged into a camera that had another end receiver that could feed the signal into a switcher. High quality and low latency and not cost $500-$2000. But anything with 5G is probably going to be marked up for a while.

Alaska has the right idea. Single camera streaming is kind of boring. Sending out a switch is what folks would prefer. For me, flexibility to bring these other cameras into the switch on location is most important as 4G speeds for the finished output are plenty for today's streaming requirements imho.
