As you may know, Apple killed Final Cut 7 support after Sierra along with many 32bit apps. Someone patched it, and a bunch of other programs with a nifty app called Retroactive.

Can confirm it works in Mojave, although a couple third party plug-ins don't work anymore. Still need FCP 7 as I have a ton of old projects I still need to get into, and for some work I still prefer it. Very happy I don't have to be stuck on Sierra anymore, and dual boot was a hassle i didn't want to deal with.

Thats awesome to hear as I still cut on my copy of FCP7 from 2009 on my 08 Mac Pro running Yocemite (thanks to my AJA Card only being supported up to that OSX). Will be nice once I can get a newer computer to use my favorite editing program!

Would this enable use of DVD Studio Pro?

Don't think so. You have to unlock each app.
