No instant rebate on the X-Mount version of MK lenses, only E-Mount?
It's a business first and a creative outlet second.

I just called Fujinon and was told that the X-Mount versions of the MK lenses are not on promo.
The Micro 4/3 version of the MK's are on promo at the same prices as the E-Mount. We've just never sold any.Terry Nixon

MTF adapters are working on an adapter fot the MKs to be used on Lumix S line. That is a brilliant idea.

Ah, that's a bummer and puzzling. Oh well, maybe someday they'll get a rebate.
Fuji makes some weird strategic decisions, reps have told me that they really want to sell a lot more MKX lenses and they should as they are a great value.
But having a rebate for only two out of the three mounts available makes little sense. It's a business first and a creative outlet second.

Maybe Fujinon figures that E-Mount sales will drop off as possible future buyers want something that'll work with the fullframe FX9. Time to clear out the inventory inventory that'll appeal to FS7 owners?
So why discount the X-Mount lenses since there isn't the same sort of end-of-life pressure?
Just a guess and a bummer, but that's biz...----------

I love my Canon 17-120, but $11K for the 20-120 cab is a damn good deal. I know they've had it around that price before, but it was with the servo grip removed. For anyone that needs a quality s35 zoom, this price makes it very compelling. No way in hell would I even consider the Zeiss LWZ.3 21-100, when this lens is only ~$600 more and offers way more functionality.
Only 6,217 to go to catch you, Dan. But you do have 10 years on me...
