Short film I produced, DPed, and acted in for the Atlanta 48 Hour Film project. It won the Audience Choice award for the viewing segment it played at against 15 other movies.

Shot on the Arri Amira with Canon cinema zooms, as well as a couple shots on the Blackmagic Pocket 4K camera (overhead shot on bed since my jib won't support the Amira and shot from inside washing machine) with the Sigma 18-35.

There's a little post credits scene as well.

Synopsis: Two buddy magicians perform a disappearing act, but where do they disappear to?

There was a Russian made-for-TV film a few years ago with a similar - but not identical, unless yours includes a Russian mob - plot line. "A married lady attending a performance volunteers for a disappearing trick. After the smoke clears, no one can find either her or the magician. Her husband calls the cops, the complications ensue, et cetera, et cetera". The amusing part was that this was supposed to be a pilot for a series but it wasn't picked up, so there was no real ending, nothing that was set up got tied together, it all ended with a bunch of loose ends ... and that gave it a unique charm visavis your regular suspense story line where some nitwit shoots himself in the head as the screen credits roll on.

I'm pretty sure this movie goes in an entirely different direction than the movie you just mentioned. If you watched it instead of just reading and commenting on the synopsis you could see for yourself.

Did NorBro see it yet? I'll wait if he likes it or not.

Funny, looks good! Were there any dialogue or prop requirements?
It's in the EOS section because of the glass?

lol, NorBro is no one. My opinion or thumbs up approval does not matter.

I saw it last night but I thought commenting on one of Eric's films was enough for the month, or forever.
