Watch out...according to DLD, you're now officially out of business.

It wasn’t witty, you have been the biggest BM advocate here. Even got me about to try one out. Were you offended by that comment?

    Downloaded the first nighttime file...

Not sure which resolution it was shot in, but the master is UHD. Rolling shutter appears well-controlled, but I do see some light noise and the infamous rainbow-colored chroma/FPN in random underexposed areas.

I wasn't patient enough to download the rest of the files, so I just watched them online and overall I think the footage is very similar to the P4K and UMP.

haha - no, of course not...I just dislike inaccurate interpretations, lol.

Like just because I like BM (I say good things about all companies) doesn't mean I will start a thread about the camera.

The value is insane though I can not stand the camera design with the big LCD and no viewfinder. It is a shame they feel compelled to go this route.

S1 is full frame and should have a (much) better auto focus. BMD does say that there is an AF of sorts on Pocket 6K. It'll have to be tested.

Are the early reviews out yet?

The worst case scenario is that you drop down to 2.8K that can do 120 fps. But, since it can do 60 fps in 6K, bad rolling shutter seems unlikely.

PS. While it doesn't set a standard in performance, Pocket 6K does set a new standard in value.* Others have to pay attention because images look pretty nice.

*If BMD can control the FPN.
