    Hi Strobel,

    - How long have you owned the kit?

    - Where did you buy from?

    - Why are you selling?

    - Would you ship to Australia?

    - Can it hot restrike?

    Thanks!

    Hi Norton,

I've had the kit for a year.

I bought it from a dp here in LA that got injured and got out of the biz. He didn't use it very much and for most of it's life it's sat in a warehouse. He purchased it directly from k5600.

I'm selling because if I need hmi for a job I would rather rent. it's a shame for it to be sitting here.

I would ship to australia, I talked to the guys at k5600 about shipping to you and they gave me some advice about packing and although they don't remove the globe when they ship the fella I talked to recommeded it.

Yes! All jokers can hot re-strike. Many people feel differently about this. k5600 recommends counting to 10. The previous owner used 5min as a rule. I did hot restrike and times varied but really has more to do with the age of the globe than anything else.

let me know if you ahve anymore questions.

Thanks for the information. Do you have a link to the chimera softboxes, or do you know the model names?

Small Chimera has three layers of removable diffusion and the xs has 2. Very good condition both of them.
