    As long as it has IBIS and at least a stop better light gathering we are good! I can't believe the S35 sensor. Panny is m4/3rds all the way...

    I would like an 8K version of the GH5S. I have no need for IBIS as my use is always on a tripod fixed not moving at all. Would need 60P HLG or log though either internal h265 or external recording maybe to a USB C drive. I would keep my GH5S and trade the GH5.

    My GH6 wish list:

    - A better lower resolution sensor optimized for video (like GH5s or better)
    - Save recording directly to an SSD through an USB-c interface (Like the BM Pocket 4K)
    - Raw output option
    - 10-bit 4:2:2 4K@60
    - True V-Log using V-Gamut (not the crappy V-Log-L with Crap-Gamut)
    - Electronic ND filter (I know, not going to happen )

    And please, do not provide 8k, 16k, 100k, we don't need no more stinking resolution, we need a better dynamic range and color reproduction and for crying out loud, keep the thing MFT only!

    As the GH6 will still be a hybrid stills + video camera the options are limited for pure video feature upgrades but I'd like to see;
    10bit internal 60fps in 4k
    More DR
    Better high ISO performance - Dual ISO!
    Better internal image processing with less NR and sharpening
    Better colour with proper V-Log as Gary says
    Aspect ratio blanking options for framing in place of the near useless faint dotted line frame guides (this could be done now with a firmware update on GH5 cameras)
    4.2.2 chroma sub sampling in open gate mode.
    USB-C charging
    IBS sensor lock so when you turn IBS off the sensor doesn't move.

    For a GH6s in adition to the above;
    IBS
    RAW (internal or external)

    In reality I think that the GH6 will have more MP's to satisfy stills shooters - probably 24mp which will give >4k video options but no DR advantages.

    There is no CMOS sensor with global shutter in that price range. What they can do is to have 4K at higher frequency than 60 fps, which will negate most of the negatives associated with the rolling shutter.

    As a side note, the FT2 is a hint of a shade of a whiff of a rumor. Currently, there's no new MFT Sony sensor and, had there been one, there'd likely be an additional 6-12 month lag until a third party vendor could offer it anyway. With GH-5 being only 2 1/2 years old and its retail price only taking a minor hit, the wait for a replacement can be quite long.

    Now, there was a rumored 32 MPX sensor somewhere but even that has not been confirmed.

    The GH5 shoots 3:2 aspect ratio 5184 × 3456 @ 30fps video in 6K photo mode so Panasonic could have had a 5K 2880p 16:9 aspect ratio video in the GH5 but I guess it was a marketing decision to not hurt AU-EVA1 Cinema Camera sales.
