    Hi
Prepping for a job (budget slomo in a small camera) and it seems that FS5 with recorder might be the thing.

I have an atomos flam (NOT inferno)

I fooked if I can find the specs of this combo. The internet is useless!

Also can anyone point to that thread on slomo cameras that was around a day or two ago?

    Sorry for my incompetence.

    http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread...-than-Phantom)

Can the fs5 spit out anything higher than 60fps? But I guess if that's all you need... I have an F55 and it can do 180fps internally/240fps RAW to R5/R7, but I rarely exceed 72fps and the VAST majority, probably 99%, is 60fps.

I think the FS5 can do 4K up to 120p in short bursts when using an external recorder. This was on Convergent Design's website.

Question is if you will gain anything with an external recorder for a budget job.

240 phat codec is a big gain - the subject is mud and water in motion.

Does it do 240 interal - my FS7 is pretty muzzy in HFR mode.

A few test shots around the house with my FS5 at 240 fps with Odyssey 7Q+

The cool thing as that some of this crap has already sold as stock and more than paid for the time I put into doing the tests. Gotta love this business.

Yeah, 240 fps sounds good at first. But it's still not slow enough! I'd love to have a Phantom.
