    Using Rosco Hazer fluid

    Will using a rosco haze fluid on a cheap hazer like a chauvet 2dx cause me any issues?From my understanding they are both water based hazers. The chauvet fluid is too thin and dissipates too fast

    Probably not as they are all glycol based. I think the mfg's have that "use of any other fluid other than our own" will void warranty, damage the machine, etc to sell their perishables. Do not however mix up glycol and oil based fluids. That said for the best hang time use MDG hazers, which are mineral oil and not glycol based. FWIW all the mfg's sell different types of fluid for the same machines. Haze, fog, quick dissipating. Maybe you just need to try the different types.
