Okay so long ago in the age of the HPX2700 being the flagship at Panasonic, I remember people talking about a service menu inside the ENG cameras that can correct dead pixels.. there was a PDF i remember that told you how to to access it. I ask because it seems i have one stubborn pixel in my HPX2700 and its most noticeable at 1fps mode. its on the left hand side of the frame. I've tried the black balance trick many times with no such luck and i dont have the $$ to take it into panasonic so im trying to resolve this myself. Any ideas?

The pixel is green in color if that means anything

It may be the same as some of the other HPX series. All care but no responsibility taken if all goes wrong

Will have another look through twenty year archive of collected PDfs. Given time I should find it... hopefully.

I will admit that each time this pops up in the search index, all I can think of is some DC area restaurant that offers a special menu for Secret Service agents.

"I'm looking for a safe house"! Love that bar. Did a movie in Milwaukee in 2003 and we went there a lot. There are a number of places that opened in LA over the last decade with "secret" entrances and themes, I always feel like they owe a debt to Safehouse.
