    Looking for some advice/user experiences.
I'm in the market for a new gimbal as my CAME TV Optimus has just about had it and there are multiple issues with it (proprietary batteries that break, non standard QR plate etc)

What I'm looking for is something that I can balance my A7III in it's cage on.
I'd love to be able to just whip the camera off the tripod and put it straight on a gimbal without changing QR plates or taking it out of its cage.

There are plenty of gimbals (Zhiyun, Feiyutech, DJI etc) that will easily handle the weight but what I'm concerned about is the balancing of the gimbal.
On my Optimus the camera (without cage) sits almost touching the tilt axis motor to get the gimbal balanced and there just isnt physically enough room to move the camera over far enough when its in the cage.

Anyone using a gimbal this way or have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for any input.
