just putting this rig together. ninja doesn't seem to recognize the 2160 input it's getting from the camera. it indicates "HDp59.94" as input signal while the camera is set to 2160/30p.

ninja firmware was up to date out of the box.

hdmi, as far as i can tell, is rated for 4k though it doesn't specifically indicate a version.

is anyone else seeing something different? i'm wondering if i really have to pony up $60 for an atomos cable.

If it's not the cable it could be either the setting in the Ninja (choose HDMI 2.0 if possible), or the HDMI output of the Z6 (make sure it's not set to HD or an automatic setting in which it could be following the HD signal it's picking up).

that was it. the camera's hdmi output setting was incorrect.

If you can, test the HDMI loop out of the Ninja using a wireless transmitter. I've tried a few different transmitters and it fails when using 23.98 signal. Thanks!
