How many people do you think would spend a few more thousand on lenses after paying already $6495 (or more) for the body?

An eva one that could accept a booster or MK lenses would be a completely different camera. An appealing one.

You can send your EVA1 to Wooden Camera and have them mod it with a PL mount:

Maybe Panasonic will offer a similar option themselves. Not really feeling the L-mount love, but Alex, does that seem like an appealing thing to you?

PL is good becuause it puts you in the 'cine' eco system - great for the 1% shooting a feature.

Short flange is better for the 99% whos budget tops out at MK zooms or speedboosted stills glass.

Morgan, I totally agree that short flange is a great thing. But there are so many great PL lenses around (and rentable); we end up using PL on a bunch of corporate stuff, some fancy-trouser doc interviews & re-creations, and the like. This hashtag is trending: #plnotjustforfeatures ;-) But granted, that tends to be on projects budgeted for ARRI cameras and such.

And ya, the MK zooms seem great for the price (will probably be working with them on a job I'm producing next month, with FS7 cameras). L-Mount is promising, but I'd want a whole bunch more glass available before I jump in. https://l-mount.com

Geez, I sure hope a few more lens mounts get announced at CP+ and NAB. :-/
