The only thing I can think of switching to mirrorless I don't like is if i manually focus, turn the camera off, it the has a different focus spot when i turn it back on.

Is there any way to keep the focus setting at a certain spot upon turning on the camera via a custom setting or anything. Or setting the focus at a certain value via custom menu? As it stands the camera always seems to revert to a value near infinity.

I am pretty sure the answer is no, but thought i would check.

    Thank you!

I think you have to use a mechanical lens ( like an adapted Nikon lens ) if you want to keep the focus between power-ups.

The answer is probably 'no' for that particular system, but you can do that with the higher-end models like the GH5/S.

Have you tried the Lens resume menu option?
    This works on the GH5 & GH5s
