    Question
I offer a few different services.
I shoot both photos and videos and there are different types of work I do with each.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to combine everything together and make a website with everything I offer or to create multiple websites.
Currently, I have it all under one website.

    For example, I offer;
    > Real Estate Photos & Videos
    > Corporate/Commercial Videos
    > Portrait Photography
    > Boudoir Photography
    > Offering Photography Lessons (considering this)

I don't know much about managing and running websites,
but wouldnt it cost me more $$ if I am running multiple sites?
And won't it be harder to promote/advertise that way?

It would seem you need at least two..

catering for the commercial organisation. and the private individual.

Costs are from $50PA per site, so no biggie.

Okay, um.. how would I break it up then?

I used a free website to see how it would look like if I had all my services all together on one website

The thing is, I dont focus on one niche. I know its not a good idea...
I personally would like to focus on photography/videography related to travel and conservation.
But I dont create that type of content too much, and finding clients towards that field is a lot harder in the beginning.
Which is why I offer other services that would help me build a portfolio and do other jobs on the side.

You dont have to focus on one niche.

A plastics manufacturing company might make sex toys and childrens toys.. but they dont market them on the same website.

They think not about themselves.. but thier clients. And focus the website on the client.

Id say the simple first split is businesses and private individuals.

We all have something we want to focus on, big drama DOP, brig travel docos whatever. And most of us do stuff to feed ourselves.. real estate, corporate.

My personal opinion is to get some web adresses

Your name .com is the ambition website, the other offers would have fremusvideo or portraistbyfeymus or whatever.

I do have a domain, but didnt link it yet as I just created a new site, but thanks

    Thinking of this:
    Site #1 -- Portraits, Boudoir
Site #2 -- Travel/Tourism, Commercial, Corporate, Real Estate

    Thats a good split IMO

real estate blurs into corporate and real estate blurs into travel to some extent.

    The personal services are seperate.

After buying your domain names, you can buy 1 hosting service and put the other domain destinations within the same hosting service using "add-on" domains, so you don't pay for additional hosting services. To visitors each appears as a unique website. At least with GoDaddy the call it "add-on" domains.

Also would be wise to remove any half-naked people from the banners (even if it's just a few shots).

[It would be fine for the individual boudoir site.]
